Webcam bouncy ball
May 11th, 2007For a project, we want to be able to play with ball in a webcam-game. It took me a while to figure out a good algorithm but I managed. It’s not perfect, but good enough for prototyping. It looks like this:
Of course, you can play too.

Hey man!
Awesome simulation!
I would also like to make something like this…sorta like the ninja game in eyetoy
I was just wondering if you could share the source code with me - I promise I’ll give you credit for it!

Hi Niels,
I’m trying to get something similar working but your swf is the most accurate I found so far. Do you mind sharing the source code?

Hello,
Is the source code of this swf file available? I was looking for something similar but the examples/tutorials on the net aren’t as accurate as yours is.

Hello Jan-Willem,
One comment is certainly more than enough, but thank you for your compliment. Due to license agreements, however, I’m sorry to tell you that I cannot share this source code with you.

Hi Jan-Willem,
I have to approve comments manually (to avoid spam) so it can take a few days for them to appear.
I’m glad you got it figured out. Is there someplace I can see the result?
That site you mention is indeed a very interesting one, I’ve studied it too in my research for this application.
