About Me
My name is Niels Keetlaer.
I am a Digital Arts student and I ‘do stuff’ with Flash.
I am fond of anything that exceeds the current paradigms of gaming and interactive experiences. In arts, my main focus is the building of installation art, perferably for use in public buildings and spaces. I believe that by placing art in a public space I can entertain and please people when, for example, waiting for their train to arrive and thus enhance their experience of an otherwise less interesting moment.
My usual tasks include concept design, technical direction and, of course, programming.
At the moment I am working on my masters thesis. I am researching possibilities to interact with groups of people at once and see how I can combine this with furniture in public spaces.
This is the place where I blog about all that, and on occasion something else that makes me happy.
